Open Access Training

For artists at any stage

These classes are open to actors at all stages of experience. Whether you’re new to training, returning after time away, or looking to reset your process, Open Access work focuses on presence, confidence, and foundational tools that support all future training.

Technique-Based Training

For actors ready to commit to a repeatable process

Technique-Based Training is designed for actors who want to develop a disciplined, repeatable acting process. These programs are structured and immersive, and require consistency, curiosity, and a willingness to work deeply over time.

Application & Practice

From training to performance

This pathway is about applying technique to real-world acting situations. You’ll work with audition material, scene study, and performance scenarios while continuing to refine listening, personalization, and presence under pressure.

What are Training Pathways?

Training Pathways are the way we organize classes at Open Frame Studios. Instead of traditional “levels,” pathways match you with training based on focus and readiness — so you enter the work with clarity and support.

We offer foundational training, technique-based programs (including Meisner), on-camera classes, ongoing practice labs, and professional services like coaching and self-tape support. Availability changes by term, so the schedule is the best place to see what’s currently running.

Yes. Classes are taught in English and we welcome both Dutch and international actors living in Amsterdam.

No prior training is required unless a class is specifically marked with prerequisites. Open Access is designed to support actors at any stage.

Yes. The Meisner 6-Month Intensive requires prior experience or preparatory coursework. This ensures you’re ready for the depth, pace, and consistency the program requires.
