I have worked with Dustin Lewis as a student, a teacher and as our studio manager. Dustin is loyal, passionate, a creative thinker, and someone you want on your team. As an acting teacher, he has years of experience on the stage, in front of the camera (and behind the camera), and in the classroom. Combine that with the genuine joy he derives from working with people and his big heart, and you have someone who is an asset in any creative setting.
Working with Dustin has been a transformative experience for me as an actor. He emphasizes the importance of vulnerability and encourages every student to bring their emotional truth to each scene. The Meisner program at Drama Inc. is one of my favorite acting classes in Atlanta. In the 6-Month Meisner Intensive we: ● Learned valuable tangible tools we could apply to our work and auditions ● Had a safe space to explore ourselves to deepen our scenes and characters ● Made friends and close personal bonds with other actors in the class. I’ve taken the class twice, trust me, it’s worth the investment. You will feel like a better actor during and afterwards. My only two theatrical SAG bookings occured while taking the class and some of my friends got agents!
I’ve taken all types of classes with Dustin over the years, whether it’s Meisner, On Camera, or a skill class like The Breakdown. Not only is he a knowledgeable teacher but he’s also a creative and an instructor who cares about and supports his students. I’d trust my training with him any day!
