Quick answers to common questions about acting classes, bookings, payment, cancellations, and training at Open Frame Studios in Amsterdam.
How do I enroll in a class?
Enrollment is completed online through the Open Frame Studios website.
Some classes require prior training, an interview, or instructor approval. If approval is needed, you’ll be guided through that process before enrollment is confirmed.
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time of booking. Your place is only confirmed once full payment has been successfully processed.
We do not hold spaces without payment.
Some longer programs may offer deposits or structured payment options, which will be clearly outlined during enrollment. If you would like to discuss payment options before booking, please contact us at dustin@openframestudios.nl so arrangements can be confirmed in writing before your place is reserved.
Do you offer payment plans?
Payment plans are not part of our standard booking process. If you are interested in a longer program and would like to discuss options, please contact us at dustin@openframestudios.nl before booking. Any arrangement will be confirmed in writing and is subject to our Terms & Conditions.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Our cancellation and refund policy depends on the type of booking:
Single classes: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled session to be eligible for a reschedule. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session, or missed sessions, are non-refundable.
Courses and programs: If you booked online, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from the time of booking under EU consumer law, provided the course has not yet started. If you withdraw more than 14 days before the course start date, a refund may be available minus any non-refundable deposit. Once a course has started, no refunds are issued except where required by law.
If Open Frame Studios cancels a session or course, you will receive a full refund or an alternative booking at your choice.

Do I have a right to cancel after booking?
Yes. If you book online as a consumer, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from the time of booking under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, provided the course or service has not yet started. To exercise this right, contact us at dustin@openframestudios.nl before the course begins.
If you choose to start the service within the 14-day period, your right of withdrawal ends once the class begins.

What happens if I miss a class or can’t attend part of a program?
Classes are not prorated for missed sessions, and missed sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable to another participant.
Make-up classes are not guaranteed and depend on the structure and availability of the specific program.
Long-form and ongoing classes are designed with some flexibility in mind, recognizing that occasional absences may occur. However, if you miss more than two sessions in a multi-week course without prior notice, we reserve the right to ask you not to re-enroll in a future intake in order to protect the integrity of the group.
What happens if a class is full?
If a class is full, you may request to join a waitlist.
If a space becomes available, you will be contacted in the order requests were received.
Can Open Frame Studios guarantee auditions, representation, or work?
No. Open Frame Studios is an educational and training-based environment.
Participation in classes does not guarantee auditions, employment, representation, or professional opportunities.
Our focus is on developing strong, honest, and repeatable craft.
Who should I contact with questions or concerns?
Email or message via our Contact Us page is the best way to contact us at regarding enrollment, scheduling, or general questions.
If you are currently enrolled in a class, your instructor may also assist with class-specific questions where appropriate.
What if I have a complaint?
We take all feedback seriously. If you have a complaint, please email us at dustin@openframestudios.nl with a description of your concern. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and provide a full response within 30 days.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint directly, you have the right to submit it to a Dutch consumer dispute resolution body. For data or privacy-related complaints, you may also contact the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
