Starting in August, Open Frame Studios will offer full in-studio audition taping and coaching, giving actors a professional space to work the scene, tape the audition, and walk away with a polished, submission-ready self-tape.

Audition Taping + Coaching
Need a self-tape that feels grounded, specific, and ready to submit?
Audition Taping + Coaching is a start-to-finish self-tape session for actors who are mostly prepared and ready to film. Dustin can read opposite you during the session, coach and redirect in real time, help with framing and setup, record multiple takes when needed, and deliver a clean final tape.
This is not just someone pressing record. It is practical audition support from an actor, coach, and outside eye who can help you stay connected, specific, and confident while the camera is rolling.
Each session can include:
- Reader support with Dustin
- Option to bring your own reader
- On-the-spot coaching and redirection

PRICING
Quick Tape — €45
Up to 30 minutes. Best for one-liners, commercials, short co-star auditions, or very simple tapes.
Standard Tape — €85
Up to 1 hour. Best for most auditions with 1–2 prepared scenes, multiple takes, and light coaching.
Extended Tape — €125
Actors should be familiar with the material and mostly prepared before the taping session. Coaching, adjustments, and redirection happen in the room but the focus is getting the audition filmed and submitted.

Work the scene before you walk into the room, onto set, or into rehearsal.
Private Scene / Role Coaching is for actors who want focused one-on-one support with a script, audition, callback, booked role, monologue, theatre scene, film or TV scene, or character.
This is separate from taping and gives us time to explore the material more deeply. We can work through relationship, circumstances, tone, emotional life, character point of view, the moment before, personalization, and how to stay alive and flexible in the work.
This coaching can be used for:

Coaching + Camera · Same Session
Prep + Tape Sessions
Work it first. Then tape it.
Prep + Tape is for actors who want deeper coaching before filming the audition.
We use the first part of the session to work the scene off-camera, explore choices, clarify the relationship and circumstances, and get the actor grounded in the material. Then we move into taping once the work is clearer and more alive.
This is a good option for callbacks, larger auditions, emotionally demanding material, multiple scenes, or actors who want more time before pressing record.
Each Prep + Tape session can include:

PRICING
Same-Day Prep + Tape — €125
Up to 90 minutes. Best for actors who are close, but want time to work off-camera before filming.
Extended Prep + Tape — €150
Up to 2 hours. Best for callbacks, larger auditions, emotional scenes, multiple scenes, or actors who want deeper exploration before taping.
Two-part Prep + Tape sessions may also be available by request — coaching first, then taping at a later time once the work has had time to settle.

Practical Information
Do I need to be fully memorized?
For taping sessions, you should be familiar with the material and mostly prepared. If you want deeper scene exploration before filming, book Private Scene / Role Coaching or a Prep + Tape session.
Can Dustin read with me?
Yes. Reader support is included in audition taping sessions. Dustin can read opposite you during the session, or you can bring your own reader if you prefer.
Is Audition Taping + Coaching start to finish?
Yes. Audition taping sessions include reader support, coaching, multiple takes when needed, taping, basic editing, and final delivery.
Do you come to my home?
Yes. Mobile audition taping is available now at your home or chosen location across Amsterdam and surrounding areas. Travel fees may apply outside central Amsterdam.
Can I book coaching without taping?
Yes. Private Scene / Role Coaching is available online, in person, in-home, or at the studio starting in July.
Can coaching be for something other than an audition?
Yes. Coaching can be used for auditions, callbacks, booked roles, monologues, theatre scenes, film/TV scenes, commercial work, on-set preparation, or general scene study.
What is Prep + Tape?
Prep + Tape is for actors who want to work the scene first and then tape the audition. We spend part of the session exploring the material off-camera, then move into filming once the work is clearer and more grounded.

Is studio taping available?
In-studio audition taping and coaching will be available starting in August and appointment slots will be on this page. Mobile audition taping on location and private coaching without taping are available now.
